ITINERARY:

The program of this trail running week is subject to change depending on the weather conditions and can be adapted in accordance to the experience and fitness of the participants. There are plenty of nice trails to choose from in the Beaufortain!

Do not worry, we always make sure we pitch the distance and route just right for you!

On Days 1 and 2, we focus on acclimatation and getting to know the group and the surroundings.

Routes are usually 12 to 16km long on average. Our trails alternate between pine woods, meadows and ridges, offering 360° breathtaking views of the valleys and summits around us.

On Day 3 or 4, you can expect a long day in the mountain. We spend around 8h walking uphills, running downhills and stopping for some sightseeing and refuelling.

On Day 5, we make our way up to the Grand Mont, the most iconic summit of the Beaufortain. This tour is a must with a detour to the Lacs de la tempête.

Day 6 is the day when we usually decide all together what we do.

ACCOMODATION:

Check in from 5pm on Saturday. Group welcome at 6pm.

You will be accomodated in a cosy wooden chalet. Dinners are made of traditionnal dishes cooked and served by a member of Mountain in the Garden.

Lunches are either taken on the go or at the chalet depending on the program and weather conditions.

Each guest or couple has his own bedroom.

GETTING THERE:

You need to book a return flight to/from Geneva or Lyon Saint Exupéry airport.

There is a 1h50 journey to Arêches-Beaufort from both airports.
